We make every effort to inform and remind our clients of each appointment made with Massage by Hand. Our automated booking system sends an email confirmation at time of booking and an email reminder with a cancellation link 24 hours in advance of every massage appointment. We do not make reminder phone calls. We also understand the value of massage to those young & old but we do not take clients under 18 years of age. We are a  highly professional & ethical group of therapists. Therefore, please honor the below policies:

Cancellation Policy:
Please kindly give a 24 hour advance notice when cancelling an appointment. If you are unable to give a 24 hour notice you will forfeit the pre-paid visit, voucher or gift certificate. Please understand that this policy will be strictly enforced out of respect for our clients time and our therapists time as well.

We make a point to be punctual and give each client our full attention for the duration of there appointment time. If you ‘forget’ or consciously choose to forgo an appointment for whatever reason you will be considered a ‘no-show’. You will forfeit the pre-paid visit, voucher or gift certificate. Please respect our time as we do yours.

If you are late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Out of respect for your therapist and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time.

Refund Policy:
We understand that certain situations may arise that no longer permit you to continue with massage due to schedule, location, health, etc. Please understand that you may gift any remaining massages to anyone you choose! We DO NOT issue refunds for any reason unless error on our part. In the unlikely event that you need a refund of a voucher purchased through a deal site such as Groupon, Amazon Local, or LivingSocial please deal with them directly as we have no way of refunding your purchase as we do not have your payment info. Again, you may gift any voucher to anyone of your choosing.

Insurance – HSA:
We do not bill insurance, prepare claim forms or provide any other documentation to our clients for purposes of insurance claims or HSA reimbursement.

Groupon, LivingSocial & Amazon Vouchers:

*Please read and follow the rules of the fine print on daily deal site purchases. These promotions are meant ONLY for new clients as a sampling of our services. Existing customers receive email promotions directly from us periodically along with our in house specials. Understand a voucher will be used only toward the purchase price for existing clients. Example -$35 paid voucher will require an additional $30 to receive a hot stone ($65) or $49 paid voucher will require $45 to receive 1 hour+30 minute foot sensation massage ($95). You may also request a refund directly through the deal site if you misread the fine print & prefer to purchase directly through Massage By Hand as an existing client. Expired vouchers are worth only the original price paid & no longer good toward the promotional service intended. Please contact us with questions.

SpaWeek & SpaFinder Gift Cards:

We are happy to accept Gift Cards by SpaFinder & SpaWeek. These gift cards can only be used towards full price services & no other discounts may be applied. The full value has to be used with one merchant per SpsFinder & SpaWeek rules printed on the back of the card.
